Born on 30th August 1988, Devang Dave is an entrepreneur and is currently the National Convener for IT-Social Media at BJYM, the BJP's youth wing.
He has also served as the Maharashtra BJP's social media coordinator. He has been a trailblazer in Maharashtra, helping the Bhartiya Janta Party build and craft effective political policies. Throughout his career to date, Devang has worked on several significant campaigns to use social media to connect people at the grassroots level. These efforts had a significant influence on the extraordinary election triumph in 2014.
At present, 28-year-old Devang Dave holds the position of national convener for the IT cell of the BJYM, which is the youth wing of the BJP. At the early age of 19, Dave began volunteering for the then-chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, during his final year of his Bachelor of Engineering program. This was his first experience with politics and the ideology of cultural nationalism. Dave is now a Master of Engineering (ME) in Computer Science from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology (TCET), Mumbai.
He has spoken at numerous seminars on social media and reputation management and served as a motivational trainer and speaker. He has been in charge of and participates in several mass awareness and technology training initiatives. According to Dave, the purpose of the workshop was to train the workers who oversee the social media cell so that the State President's or the Chief Minister of Maharashtra's words could be effortlessly spread to the local level from the State Headquarters.
